James (Jim) Victor Good – 2017

James (Jim) Victor Good
Suddenly, on Thursday, June 8, 2017, Jim passed away at the age of 70 at his home in Inwood, MB.
Jim was predeceased by his parents, Victor and Violet Good and sister Linda Taylor. Left to cherish his memory are children Andrew (Erin) Good, John (Missy) Palen, Ken (Soraya) Palen, and Susan (Mike) Gallinger; grandchildren Leanna, Reid, Hugh, and Jaxon; sister Joan, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dad was born on January 20, 1947 to Victor and Violet Good. Dad spent most of his life in the Teulon area. He enjoyed catching up on the local news most mornings at the local coffee shop. Dad also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. They were his pride and joy. There was seldom a baseball or hockey game he would miss and he loved to see the kid’s progress in their game. Dad was also actively involved in the church. There wasn’t a function put on that he wasn’t involved in the planning of. His presence each week at Sunday service will definitely be missed.
The family would like to thank the EMS and RCMP who responded, for their care for dad.
A memorial service will take place on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Cyprian’s Anglican Church, Teulon, MB.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation, 200-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0S6.
