At his home in Simcoe on November 4, 2017, Jim Wardell in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Fraser). Dear father of Brian Wardell, Anne Taylor (Brian), Christine Wardell (Bob), David Wardell (Margie) and Greg Wardell (Judy). He was grandfather to 12 and great grandfather to 4. Jim is also survived by his sister Shirley Baker (Gil) and sister-in-law Virginia Wardell. Predeceased by siblings George and Vernon Wardell, Dorothy Mason, Violet Krohe and Marjorie White. Jim was a 24 year employee of Canada Wire retiring in 1994. Friends are invited to call at THE FERRIS FUNERAL HOME, 214 Norfolk St., S., Simcoe on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
