Peacefully passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on December 27, 2017 at the age of 77 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Frances Lorna (nee Cousineau). Loving father of Patricia Lynne Mannering (Dave), Heather Jamieson (Larry), James “Zeke” Jamieson (Fanessa), Tracey St. Amand (Jim), Luke Jamieson (Vanessa) and Jason Jamieson. Cherished grandpa of 13 grandkids and 8 great-grandkids. Dear brother of Peter Jamieson (Carol). He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by his parents; Peter and Irene Jamieson and his siblings; Patricia, Mable, Elsie, John, Frank, Douglas and Eric. Family will be receiving friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2018 from 11 am till time of service in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel at 1pm. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family. Very special thanks to the C1 nursing staff and all the holiday doctors on call and Dr. NG for the compassionate care.
