Jim was a friend and fellow musician of mine; we played in the Wild Rose All Star band for decades, and a few others as well.
Jim was a very fine musician and a great guy, with a great sense of humour. He was the best Dixieland trombonist I have ever worked with, and he played other styles very well too.
He is missed.
