Obituary for James Claude “Jim” Pare
PARE, James Claude
Unexpectedly at home on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the age of 72 years. Jim is the loving father of Christa Pare (Rob Poudrette) of Renfrew and step-father of Chantal Taillefer Elvish (Jai Elvish) and Natalie Cation of Thunder Bay. Proud Pepe of Jacob, Johnathon (Karly Castonguay), Sophie and Emilie. Jim will be sadly missed by Michelle, Mike, his best buddy Tundra and his many friends in Renfrew, Thunder Bay and Dorion. Jim was an active volunteer with Hospice Renfrew, he was a Stevens minister through Redwood Church in Thunder Bay, participated in a ministry trip to Indonesia, Bikes for Humanity and had been a member at Dorion Bible Fellowship and Dorion Bible Camp. He loved fishing, camping, sailing and making sauerkraut with Joe. At Jim’s request a private family inurnment will take place at Dorion Bible Camp, Thunder Bay, in the Spring. For those wishing, donations to Hospice Renfrew, Dorion Bible Camp or Dorion Bible Fellowship would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
