“Carl” – Age 65, Havre
Boucher, Antigonish Co. It is with great sadness that we announce the
sudden passing of our husband and father, Carl on Wednesday, November
8, 2017. Born in Antigonish he was a son of Catherine (Benoit) Fougere
and the late Raymond Fougere of Cape Jack, Antigonish
Co,.
Surviving are his wife, Helen (Petrie); sons, Neil and his
wife Jami (Chapel) and their children, Rayce, Reo, Riggs and Paisley,
Midland, Texas; Jonathan and his wife Melanie (MacDonald) and their
children, Hayley and Dylan, St. Andrews; brothers, Douglas (Andrea),
Creignish; Donald (Caroline), North Grant; Gerard (Theresa), Kelowna,
BC; Stephen (Daisy), Brooks, AB; Charles (Susan), Edmonton; Sherman
(Jennifer), Calgary; Michael (Denise), Cape Jack; sister, Marion
McLaren (Ross Calder), New Glasgow; brother-in-law, Steve McLaren,
Antigonish; many nieces and nephews. Carl retired from Stora Enso and
was still an avid lobster fisherman.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4
and 7-9 p.m. in St. Paul’s Centre, Havre Boucher. Funeral
mass will be 11 a.m. Monday from St. Paul’s Roman Catholic
Church, Havre Boucher with Father Allan MacPhie and Father Bill Crispo
officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Memorial
donations may be made to The Lodge That Gives or a charity of
one’s choice. Arrangements are under the care and direction
of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Words of comfort
