Jakob passed away peacefully at the Grey Nuns Hospital on December 6th, 2017 at the age of 95 years. Jakob is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 71 years, Irma; his four sons, Jim (Chris), Tony (Linda), Bill (Jan), and Rob (Kim); his seven grandchildren, Steven (Chrissy), Shannon (Adrian), Dan (Brenda), Peter (Ashley), Robyn (Tara), Michael, and Joshua; and his seven great grandchildren, Liam, Hayden, Bailey, Jack, Sydney, Elizabeth, and Benjamin. He is also survived by nephews and nieces in Austria. The family wishes to thank the staff of Unit 44 at the Grey Nuns Hospital for their care and compassion. Jakob immigrated…
