In loving memory of Norman Edgar Jahnke who passed away suddenly in the Penticton Regional Hospital on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the at of 82 years.
He will be missed by his loving companion Lorraine; brothers: Wally Jahnke of Oliver, BC, and Willard (Camilla) Jahnke of Ontario.
Norman was born in Alice, Ontario on January 27, 1935. He was the youngest of four children. At an early age, Norman left home and started working in the mining industry where eventually he became a hoistman. He worked in areas across Canada, Northwest Territories as well as in several States. After living in various towns across British Columbia, Norman eventually moved and settled in Oliver in 1997 where he met his spouse Lorraine. Norman enjoyed his retirement years at Green Acres trailer park in Oliver, BC.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017 in the Chapel of Graham Funeral Home, 5920 Kootenay Street, Oliver BC. Graveside Service to follow in the Oliver Municipal Cemetery.
