Jacqueline “Jackie” Marie Boudreau
1939-2016
At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on December 10,
2016, Jacqueline Marie (Benoit) Boudreau, wife of the late Phillippe
Boudreau, passed away surrounded by loved ones. Born in Tracadie NB on
December 14, 1939, she was a daughter of the late George and Flavie
(Comeau) Benoit. A loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, she is
survived by sons: Charles Boudreau of Pennfield, Carl Boudreau of
Saint John and Hughie (Leslie) Boudreau of Pennfield; daughter: Laura
(Allen) Eldridge of St. George; six special grandchildren: Phillip,
Cody, Christine, Ross, Cheryl and Amber; sisters: Rita Comeau of
Shippagan NB and Sylvia (Edgar) Benoit of Tracadie NB; and several
nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents,
Jackie was predeceased by her twin sister: Katelene; sisters:
Viatrice, Alvina, Eva, Theresa and twins, Beatrice and Bernice;
brothers: Chelsley, George, Irénée and Leonsons.
Well known for her sense of humor, her love for BINGO and her
“Bling Bling”, Jackie always had a smile to brighten your
day. She was a very loving person whose faith, family and friends
brought joy to her life. She truly loved her “family” in the
seniors apartment where she lived and will be sadly missed by her
family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the
Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit for the kindness and
support they have shown to them. Your compassion and care will always
be gratefully remembered.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26
Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the funeral home with
visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will
be celebrated from St. George’s Catholic Church on Wednesday at 11:00
am. In Jackie’s memory, donations to Charlotte County Cancer, The
Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Charlotte County SPCA would be
appreciated by the family.
