Unexpectedly, on Friday, December 30, 2016, Jacqueline Theresa Hanzel, “Jackie”, of Tillsonburg, formerly of Capreol, at the age of 81 years. Exceptional wife of 60 years to Doug. Loving and supportive mother to Karen Wilcox and her husband Scott; Sandra Ware and her husband David; Kelly Vieira and her husband Chester; Scott Hanzel and his wife Christine. Proud grandmother of Angela Vardy; Kelly Vardy; Joshua Ware and his wife Kasia; Jacob Ware; Brittney Vieira; Michael Vieira; Dylan Vieira; Brayden Hanzel; and Kale Hanzel. Great grandmother to Noah, Reese, Madison, Jaxon, Sebastian, and Sawyer. Sister to Jean and her husband Bill Guiney (both predeceased), Gloria (predeceased) and her husband John Byrnes, Garry and his wife Carol O’Connor, Gordon O’Connor; Brenda O’Connor (predeceased) and her husband Edgar Soulliere. Predeceased by her parents John and Evelyn O’Connor. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Jackie will be held on Saturday, January 07, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 51 Venison St. W., Tillsonburg. Interment will be held at a later date in Capreol, ON.
