Roberta Irene Jackson, 72, of New Glasgow, formerly of Westville, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, with her family at her side.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Marguerite “Peg” (Dunbar) Rundle of Westville.
Married for 54 years, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother with her family being her love and life.
Roberta will be sadly missed by her husband Charles “Buck”; children Charles(Dien), Lunenburg; Clarence (Michelle), Cornwall; Kimberley Litt (Jamie), Conquerall; Leanne MacDonald (Todd), Little Harbour; grand children Jennifer, Alicia and Thomas Jackson; Colleen Jackson; Cory and Katelynn Carver; Anthony (Brianna) and Zachary Smith; step grand children Brandon and MacKenzie, Jeffrey and Jenny, Scott and Jessica; great grand children, Summer, Savannah, Jasmine and Tiana. She is also survived by her sister Faye Fraser (Edwin), Mill Brook; brothers , Bill Rundle (Brenda), Mill Brook; Tom Rundle (Tanya), Alma; Robert, New Glasgow; daughter -in-law Susan Rundle, Westville; sisters-in-law Doll Betts (Mike), Stellarton; Pearlie Blackwood (Skipper), New Glasgow; Joan Jackson, New Glasgow and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by a grand daughter Jessica Lantz and infant twin brother Frankie and Johnnie.
Roberta is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. There will be no visitations. Her funeral service will be held 2o’clock Saturday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Bonnie Langille officiating. Burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery, Westville. No flowers by request, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society.
