MAXWELL, Robert John “Jack” 1934 – 2017 – surrounded by his loving family at the Hamilton General Hospital on Monday, March 6th, 2017 in his 83rd year. Son of the late Jack Sr. (1998) & Mildred Maxwell (2012). Jack is survived by his siblings Shirley Smith (Russell) of Simcoe; Jim Maxwell (Carolyn) of Ocala, Florida; June Laevens (Ed) of Delhi; Paul Maxwell (Liala Brutscher) of Port Dover and the late Judy Walker (2001), her husband David of Simcoe. Jack will be lovingly remembered as “Uncle Jackie” to 15 nieces & nephews, 26 great nieces & nephews, 14 great, great nieces & nephews and 1 great, great, great niece. Jack had a great outlook on life and was a pleasure to be around. His positive nature and laughter will be sadly missed. Predeceased by his niece Sherri Robb (1992), his nephew Kevin Smith (2013) and by his sister-in-law April Maxwell (2014). Friends are invited to share their memories of Jack with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North, Simcoe for visitation on Thursday, March 9th, 2017 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Jack’s home going service will be held on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. from Calvary Pentecostal Church, Ireland Rd. Simcoe with Pastor Craig Luff officiating. Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe. In honouring Jack’s memory, those wishing to donate are asked to consider the Calvary Pentecostal Church.
