Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at the age of 98 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband Andrej. Loving mother to Mary (Simon) and Elizabeth (Dan). Grandmother to Eileen (Piran), Matthew, Genevieve, Jacqueline, Caroline, Jonathan and Christopher, and great-grandmother to Julian. Ivanka will be dearly missed. Family and friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home (3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W., between Islington & Kipling Aves., 416-259-3705) on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Visitation as well, 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal church (739 Brown’s Line, Toronto, ON), followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial after mass at Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON). Lunch will be served in the church hall after the burial. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dom Lipa Nursing and Independent Retirement Home are suggested (52 Neilson Drive, Etobicoke, ON, M9C 1V7).
