Peacefully, at Gateway Haven, Wiarton, on Sunday, March 26th, 2017 in her 100th year. Isabel, beloved wife of the late E. James Flippance. Loving Mother of Edith and her husband the late Joseph Torbay, and C. James Flippance and his wife Shawnee. Proud grandmother of Christopher Torbay and his wife Danielle, Michael Torbay and his wife Maral, Nicole Flippance, Clayton Flippance, Erica DeVuono and her husband Paul, and great grandmother of Jordan and Miranda Torbay, Oliver Torbay, and Leo and Isoline DeVuono. Predeceased by her sister Janet Ferguson and her husband Don. The Flippance family would like to express their sincere thanks to the Doctors and Staff at Gateway Haven, Wiarton for the kindness and care they gave to Isabel over the past few years.
Friends will be received at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, on Saturday, April 1st, 2017 from 11:00am – 1:00pm. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at St. John’s Anglican Church, 516 Mill Street, Port Elgin, with Rev Jason Postma officiating.
