MAURICE, Irene Mary
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at St. Peter’s Residence at Chedoke on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Maurice. Cherished mother of Jan and her husband Brian Lane, Pam and her husband Richard Luchesa, Tim and his wife Rosemarie. Loving grandmother of Christopher, Jeffrey, Claire, Alison, Brendan, Andrew, Jennifer, Matthew, Colette and 14 dearly loved great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Margaret LaPierre of Windsor, Ontario and Judy Juneau of Harbor Springs, Michigan. Predeceased by sisters Beatrice Boutette, Florence LaPierre and brothers Gordon LaPierre and Fabian LaPierre. Irene was a loving friend to many and will be greatly missed. She was a very faith filled woman and devoted to her family. Special thank you to the staff at St. Peter’s Residence for their outstanding and loving care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Vigil prayers 4 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, Stoney Creek on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.
