Irene McConnell (nee Gibson-Whitelaw)
of Arthur passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Arthur on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Charles McConnell (2005) and the late Allan Gibson (1987). Dear mother of Victor and Linda Gibson of Arthur and the late Ken Gibson. Cherished grandmother of Cathy Robinson of Mt. Forest, Wanda and Claudio Meffe of Vaughan. Great grandmother of Sydney, Savanna, Sawyer, Jessica, and Joshua. Sister of Vernon and Marie Whitelaw of Fergus and Robert and Edith Whitelaw of Fergus. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents George and Ada (Cooper) Whitelaw and her brother Leslie Whitelaw in infancy.
The family will receive friends at the Arthur Pentecostal Assembly on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Arthur Pentecostal Assembly, Arthur at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment in McKee Cemetery.
