Dear Heart,
I do not mourn your passing because you wanted to go. But I will miss you so much in the winds that blow, in the flowers that bloom and in the birds that sing in every little thing that makes the life I know. You have left me with a hole in my heart that might never heal. If there is life beyond, then we shall meet again. If not you shall live in me as long as I remain.
With all the love a man can know, your husband, Jack McRae.
