At Billings Court Manor, Burlington on Friday, August 18, 2017, Irene (nee Cheeseman) Long of Burlington at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late Harry Long. Loving mother of Peter (Jean), Diane Courrier (Ralph), Ron (Vivien) and the late Elaine Cobb (late Michael). Cherished grandmother of Geff, Leanne, Darren, Andrea, Shannon, Alicia, Andrew and 16 Great Grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings, Olive Baker, Bernice Mummery, Dorothy Colyer, Evelyn Cheeseman and Joseph Cheeseman. The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Billings Court Manor for the compassionate care of Irene over the last 12 years. Private Cremation and Urn interment to take place. If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
