Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear wife, mother and life time friend.
She passed away peacefully with Charlie, her beloved husband of 67 years at her side.
Predeceased by her parents, three sisters, relatives, and eldest daughter Wendy, who are waiting at Heaven’s door to greet her and embellish her love and pleasant company.
Besides her husband, she will be sadly missed and always remembered by her children Mark (husband to Wendy), Bob (Tracey), Maureen (Steve), Ron (Liz), Debbie (John), Cheryl (Jesse), Heather (Peter), Mike (Vita), along with 20 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, sisters in law, nieces and nephews as well as many other relatives and friends.
In her many years of marriage and family she was devoted to sharing her undivided love of life with us in so many ways.
She also shared her love of life with her involvement in the Sparks, Brownies, Girl Guides movement, church, choirs and numerous friends, where she adored and cherished every precious moment.
Heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Villa St. Anne (Lachine) for their loving care, kindness and devotion.
The family invites you to a visitation Monday, November 6, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd Dollard des Ormeaux and to share a celebration of her life Tuesday, November 7 at 11:30 at the Dorval Strathmore United Church, 310 Brookhaven, Dorval. Visitation starting at 10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dorval Strathmore United Church.
