JARDINEVILLE, NB – Irene Cormier 74, of
Jardineville, NB passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday,
February 4, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born in
Richibouctou-Village, she was the daughter of the late Henri Boucher
and late Elise (King) Boucher. She attended St. Antoine de
Padoue Roman Catholic Church in Richibouctou-Village. Before
retiring, Irene was a tour director for a motor coach store in
Harvard, MASS.
Irene will be sadly missed by her husband, Paul Cormier of
Richibouctou-Village; one son, Ronnie Robichaud (Sandy) of Ashburnham,
MASS; step-daughter, Sheila Sundstrom (Steve) of West Townsend, MASS;
step-sons, Norman Cormier (Betty) of Ashburnham, MASS, Michael Cormier
(Valeria) of Fitchburg, MASS; two grandchildren, Michelle, Russell,
two great grandchildren, Tucker, Avery and four step-grandchildren,
Sam, Jessica, Jason, and Caua.
She is also survived by three sisters, Joanne Babineau (late
Jack) of Richibouctou-Village, Annette Boucher (Leo) of Leominster,
MASS, Denise Bernard (Irois) McKees Mills; one brother, Omer Boucher
(Violet) of Richibouctou-Village and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, Irene was predeceased by two infant
brothers, Emery and Armand.
Visitation will be held at the St. Antoine de Padoue Roman
Catholic Church in Richibouctou-Village. Funeral
arrangements will be announced on our website once they have been
finalized. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s
Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
