Obituary Overview
Inge Berta Liesel Enss (nee Ostwald)
March 7, 1936 – December 18, 2017
I knew this day would come, I just hoped it would not have been so soon. Inge passed away December 18th after a long battle with cancer. She was a strong woman who never complained at her situation in life. Inge was born in Bielefeld Germany to Käthe and Heinrich Ostwald. She was the middle child with an older and younger sister. Inge married the love of her life Ernst in 1957 and they had 56 years together. They immigrated to Canada in April 1965 and enjoyed their lives in their new home. Family was everything to Inge. She was a stay at home mom for many years who spent her time making the family happy. She stood by me in every life event and worked side by side with Ernst in the family business after 1981.
Inge leaves to cherish her memory daughter Andrea Stewart with partner Steven Mauws from Winnipeg. From Bielefeld Germany she leaves to cherish her memory her younger sister Irmgard Brall with family and from Stryker Ohio she will be missed by sister-in-law Gerda Krueger and family.
Thank you to the Dr. P. Harris and the staff of Grace CancerCare for all their wonderful care of mom during her many years of living with cancer. To the management and staff at Sturgeon Creek II for making mom feel comfortable and safe during her time living in the residence.
In lieu of flowers please donate to Grace Hospital Foundation (Cancer Care Division).
