HARRIS, Inez Louise
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Inez Harris on Monday, October 9, 2017 in Red Deer, Alberta at the Red Deer Hospice. Inez was born August 19,1939 in Fielding, Saskatchewan. She attended Fielding School and married her high school sweetheart, Melvin Harris in 1960. Mom and Dad raised their 5 children in various locations in Saskatchewan. Mom was an avid gardener and seamstress, working in many retail stores over the years. The journey of life takes you to many places along the way, you endure many struggles and celebrations. As we move forward in life remember the good times and special moments, tuck these memories in your heart and recall them with love in the days and years ahead. We love you mom and will never forget what you have done for your family; Dad’s been waiting for you.
Inez is lovingly remembered by her sister, Bernice Sharp of Regina, SK, sisters-in-law, Muriel Miller of Fielding, SK and Myrna Roberts of Borden, SK; her children, Sharon Pettifor of Red Deer, AB, Roger Harris of Assiniboia, SK, Richard Harris of Saskatoon, SK, Diane Whitford of Grand Prairie, AB and Donna Halbauer of Grande Prairie, AB; 11 grandchildren; 4 great children and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
At Inez’s request, there will be no Funeral Service. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Inez’s memory to the Red Deer Hospice, 66 Arnot Avenue, Red Deer, AB, T4R 3S6 or The National Kidney Foundation of Canada (AB Division), 6007 – 1A Street SW, Calgary, AB, T2H 0G5.
