It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother and Oma on December 2, 2016 at the age of 91. Ida will be lovingly remembered by her son Heinz (Susan) and daughter Rita (Lynn), her grandchildren Stephanie (Sean), Karen (Robert), Julie (Allan), Dianna (Matt), great grandchildren Amalia and Logan, sister Lottie, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Ida’s family wishes to express sincere thanks to the staff at Millwoods Shepherd’s Care for the care and compassion they showed Mom while she was there.
A time for friends and family to pay their respects will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 1:00 pm with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm at Glenwood Funeral Home, 52356 Range Road 232, Sherwood Park.
