RIVERTON – Hugh William Warner, 83,Riverton Heights Apartments, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at home.
Born in MacLellan’s Brook, Pictou County, he was a son of the late Charles and Jessie (Earle) Warner. He was an adherent of St. John’s Presbyterian Church, MacLellan’s Mountain and Maranatha Bible Church, New Glasgow. He trained as a nursing orderly at Hamilton General Hospital, Hamilton, Ont. and worked at Sackville Memorial Hospital, Sackville, NB.
Surviving are his companion, Ruby Munro, Riverton; daughter, Elaine, Halifax; son, Wayne (Joanne), Truro; four grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Ruth and Florence; brother, Albert.
In honor of Hugh’s wishes, his family will celebrate his life privately
Donations may be made in Hugh’s memory to the Maranatha Bible Church, New Glasgow.
