Obituary for Howard Ness
NESS, Howard Charles- After a short battle with cancer passed away peacefully on Saturday October 21st, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Sonja Ness(nee Savjak). Loving father of Heather (Jason) Schnarr and Rebecca (Claus Derisma) Ness. Proud grandpa of Danielle Ness, Amanda Rice, and Jayden Charles Derisma. Dear brother of Heather (Brian) Fox and their daughter Jessica. Cherished son-in-law to Valdimir Savjak and Mary Krstanovich and brother-in-law to Vesna (Reg) Harvey and their son James; Miroslav (Tanja) Savjak, and their daughter Mirna. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Margaret (nee Spring) Ness. Howard will be greatly missed by his best friend of 64 years Douglas (Joan) Blair and his many friends and extended family. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Saturday October 28th, 2017 from 10 to 11 am where the memorial service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial contributions to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
