It is with great sadness that the family of the late
HILDA ELEANOR MILES of Fortune announces her
passing at the Blue Crest Interfaith Home in Grand Bank, on Saturday,
December 30th, 2017, at the age of
92. Leaving to mourn with fond and
loving memories are sons, Stewart Miles (Alma Miller) of Fortune, Paul
Miles (Arlene) of St. Johns, Keith Miles (Gerry) of Calgary;
daughters, Dianne Collier (George) of Fortune, Brenda Bungay (David)
of Fortune; 7
grandchildren: Dennis, Brian, Jennifer,
Ashley, Danielle, Brittney & Krista; plus a large circle of
extended family and friends.
She was
predeceased by her husband, Hubert Miles; parents, Stewart &
Sally Kelloway; sisters, Pearl & Inez; brother, John.
The Miles Family will be accepting visitors at
Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Fortune on Sunday, December
31st, from 2:00 to 4:00 &
7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday, January 1st, from 2:00 to 4:00 &
7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will take
place at the United Church in Fortune, on Tuesday, January
2nd, at 2:00
p.m. Interment will follow at the
United Church Cemetery in
Fortune.
In Hilda’s
memory donations may be made to the United Church (P.O. Box 175,
Fortune, NL A0E 1P0), or flowers gratefully
accepted.
