Bathurst – Herman Morton, 85, formerly
of Main St., passed away on Sunday March 19, 2017, at the Foyer Notre
Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst.
Born in Rogersville, he was the son of
the late Robert and Beatrice (LeBlanc)
Morton.
He worked as an electrician for most of
his life and loved boating.
Besides his wife, Jeannine (Beaudoin)
Morton, he is survived by three children: Diane Morton (Jacques
Campeau) of St-Hippolyte, QC, Robert of Middle River and Carolyn
Morton (Ivan Elliott) of Belleville,
ON.
One granddaughter,
Marie-Claude.
One brother, Eddie Morton of
Robertville. Several nieces and
nephews.
He was pre-deceased by a grandson,
Nicolas, a brother, Gerald.
The family will receive relatives and
friends on Wednesday March 22, 2017 from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral
service at 4 p.m. at Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel
(www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Donations in memory of Herman
may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society a charity of the donors choice.
The family would like to thanks the
Staff of the Foyer Notre Dames de Lourdes for the excellent care he
received during his time there.
