Life Story for Herbert Troesch
Herb was born on May 20, 1914, the oldest son of Jake and Maryanne Troesch on their farm outside of Edam. He was blessed with a long and healthy life that spanned two world wars, the Great Depression and man landing on the moon. Herb had a keen interest in history and became the family historian. He enjoyed telling and writing stories right up to the end of his days.
Herb is predeceased by his wife, Anne; his parents, Jacob and Maryanne Troesch; his brothers, Leo and Martin; and his sisters, Lena,Mina, Fran and Mary.
Herb is survived by his brother, Joe (Ann); his sister-in-law, Noella; his children, Denis (Melanie), Robert (Bertha), Carol (Garry), Gerry and Maureen; eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. His memory will be cherished by all of them.
