Passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Lewisporte Health Center, Lewisporte, NL, Mr. Henry Hurley, age 81 years, formerly of Comfort Cove-Newstead. He was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Hettie; brothers, Alex, Stan, Andrew and Donald; sister, Pearl.
Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his sisters, Helena (Willis Burt), Viola (Truman Barnes); brothers, Saul (Beatrice), Larry (Geraldine), Ross (Loretta), Calvin (Ann), Melvin (Rosie), Elwood (Cathy), David; sisters-in-law, Viola and Blanche Hurley and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Public visitation will take place from the Salvation Army Church, Comfort Cove on Monday, December 18th from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will take place from the church on Tuesday, December 19th at 2 PM. Interment will follow from the Salvation Army Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Church Cemetery Fund will be gratefully accepted.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 main Street, Lewisporte.
