1934-2017
The death occurred peacefully with his loving family by
his side of Henry Donald Compton at the Colville Manor, age
83 years. Born in Bangor, P.E.I., son of the late Benjamin and Lydia
(Jardine) Compton. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Ada
Macdonald and children Donald (CaraLee), David and Davida (Dave)
Squires; grandchildren, Colby (Jessica) MacKinnon, Raelene (Ben)
Gould, Nolan Compton, Jessica Kelly and Patrick Kelly; great
grandchildren, Rilynn and Kinsley MacKinnon, Jack Browning; brothers,
sisters, Isabel Dingwell, Sophia MacLaren-Clarke, David (Linda), Ralph
(Pamela), Ruth Compton-Brouwer, Hope (Larry) Lutz, Anne Compton;
sisters-in-law, Christine Compton and Peggy Compton; Numerous nieces,
nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by sister Elizabeth
(Glen) MacKenzie, brothers Simon (Jean) Compton and John Compton;
brothers-in-law, Kenneth Dingwell, Keith MacLaren and George Clarke.
Resting at
Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Wednesday,
November 22nd from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral Service to take place in the
Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 23rd at 11 am. Interment to
follow in the Bangor Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the
Bangor Free Church of Scotland or the Alzheimers Society of
PEI.
Funeral Service
