1959-2017
It is with sadness that the family of Marie Yvonne
“Hélène” Messier announces her
death at home on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at the age of 57. Born
in Richelieu, QC, on December 24, 1959, she was the daughter of Luc
and Madeleine (Archambault) Messier.
Hélène leaves behind her children,
Jonathan (Amanda) of Montréal, QC, David and
Andréa Peters, of Fredericton, NB; siblings, Lucie Hamel
(Gaétan) of Québec City, QC,
Véronique Benoit of Richelieu, QC, Claudine Messier of
Chambly, QC, Jean-Francois Messier (Valérie) of Issoudun,
QC, and Daniel Messier of Grand Baie, QC; nephew, Earle Grasse
(Linda); niece, Marguerite Harris; and a large extended family.
Hélène was predeceased by her great nephew,
Stephen Grasse; and great niece, Theresa Lawson.
A private service will be held at a later date. For those who
wish, donations in Hélène’s memory can
be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to a Womens’
shelter/transition home. For those who may wish to donate
flower arrangements, please offer potted plants instead of cut
flowers.
