RICHIBUCTO, NB – Helen LeBlanc 83, of Richibucto
passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center in
Moncton on Monday, January 9, 2017. Born in Saint-Charles,
NB she was the daughter of the late Vital Daigle and late Lodie
(Robichaud) Daigle. Helen loved gardening, quilting,
knitting and reading after her retirement.
Helen, beloved mother, will be sadly missed by her daughter,
Darlene Daigle (Donald) of Dieppe; two sons, Vincent LeBlanc of
Fredericton, Maurice “Pickles” LeBlanc of Richibucto
and three grandchildren, Julien Thibodeau of Moncton, Marcelle
Thibodeau-Hennigar (Christopher) of Fredericton and Sebastien LeBlanc
of Moncton and two great grandchildren, Jacob &
Zoé.
She is also survived by two sisters, Nola Richard (late
Alfred), Velma LeBlanc (Alpha) both of Richibucto; one brother,
Maurice Daigle (Andrea) of Moncton; sister-in-law, Theresa Daigle of
Moncton and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Valmond LeBlanc and one sister, Edith Richard and one brother,
Urbain.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Saturday at 9:00 am
until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on
Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00 am, at the St. Louis de Gonzague
Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Donations in memory of
Helen may be made to the charity of the donor’s
choice. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s
Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
