Osmond (nee Munro), Helen Isabel (August 6, 1924-January 23, 2017)- It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Helen Osmond, on Monday January 23rd, 2017 at the Bennett Health Care Centre, Georgetown, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Frederick Charles Osmond. Helen will be missed by her children Don (Linda), Doug (Linda), Karen (Gary) and Cheryl (Greg), her grandchildren Ian, Adrian, Craig, Kyle, Darren, Terri, Shaunna, Andrew, Tyler and Madison and her great-grandchildren Finnley, Mackenzie, Max, Dec and Dani. Helen was a member of Humbervale United Church for most of her life, and enjoyed her time with family and friends cottaging at Birchdale Lodge, camping at Killbear Provincial Park, bowling and social clubs. A special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Bennett Centre. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Thursday from 7-9 pm. Funeral and committal service will be held in the chapel on Friday January 27th at 11:00 am. Cremation.
