After a long and well-lived life, our beloved Hedi passed away peacefully at Parkview Nursing Centre at the age of 101. Predeceased by her husband Theobald in 1987, and brother-in-law Otto in 2015. She leaves behind to mourn her son Ted (Linda), daughter Dorothy McDermott of Victoria, B.C., and her sister Antonie Bechtle of Munich, and other extended family members in Germany. Visitation at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. Private Family Interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations to McMaster Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
