Heather grew up in Selkirk, enjoying the company of her many friends. After graduation she moved first to Brandon and later to Carberry, where her and Troy welcomed two beautiful boys into their lives. After Troy’s tragic death, the family moved to Kenora, allowing the boys to further their love of the outdoors and hone their mechanical talents under the guidance of Grandpa Dick.
Heather enjoyed taking the boys on summer road trips, exposing them to many different locations, sites and museums left lasting memories and many learning experiences.
When the boys played football, Heather was always their biggest fan. The boys could always hear her cheering loudly and ringing her distinct cowbell.
While in Kenora, and more recently in Winnipeg, Heather worked with people with developmental disabilities; Heather’s dynamic personality and unique abilities allowed her to thrive in this difficult and challenging environment.
