Obituary for Hazel Armstrong
Armstrong: Hazel Amelia Valentine: -passed away at the Ross Memorial Hospital Lindsay, on Thursday August 3, 2017 at the age of 93 years. Hazel was the beloved wife of the late John Fraser Armstrong. (2016). Dear mother of Patricia Jean (Jeff) Jones, Donna (John) Gordon, Sharon (Gary) Scriver and William Armstrong. Hazel leaves behind nine grandchildren, Andrew, Mark, Alison, Christine, Jessie, Anna, David, Kaitlyn, Rebecca and seven great grandchildren, Hudson, Blake, Addison, Cameron, Hadley, Eve and Cruz. Lovingly remembered by her sister Elly Pearson, predeceased by her sister Eileen Wallbank and brother Walter John McIndoo “Mac”. Memorial service for Hazel will be held at the Mangan Funeral Home 332 Osborne St. Beaverton on Monday September 11, 2017 at 11a.m She will be sorely missed and will be especially remembered for her kindness, gratitude, humour and good nature. When asked what life was all about someone once replied, “To Live, to Love, to Laugh and to Leave a Legacy”. Hazel accomplished all of that and more and her Legacy will live on through all of the generations who’s lives she touched. If so desired memorial donations in memory of Hazel, to the Doctors Without Borders or the World Wildlife Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
