TRIMM, Harrison James – Passed peacefully away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s at Agnes Pratt Home on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at age 79. Predeceased by his mother Ella and father Lewellyn Trimm and brother Fredrick Trimm. Leaving to mourn his devoted wife Phyllis; daughter Marilyn Ellis (Wade); son Steven (Traci); sister Rev. Elise Squires (Maxwell); sister-in-law Olive Trimm and brother & sister-in-law Bill and Blanche Hollett; four grandchildren: Katharine, Mason, Nicholas and Liam; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Agnes Pratt Home and long term family physician Dr. Jennifer Stender. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, St. John’s with visitation on Thursday from 7-9pm; then on Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and on Saturday from 10am – 12noon. Funeral service from Wesley United Church, Patrick Street on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
