Harold William Harper, Sr., 89 of Kentville/Berwick passed away March 8, 2017 in the Valley Regional Hospital. Born on June 19, 1927, he was the son of the late Leslie and Jessie (Greene) Harper.
Harold was avid Toronto Maple Leaf and Blue Jay Fan. He held a career as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
He was survived by sons Stephen (Shirley) Mt.Uniacke; Wayne (Debbie) Canada Creek; Hal Kentville; daughters Kathy Sheffield Mills; Karen (Gordie) Kentville; sister Irene Victoria, BC; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Harold was predeceased by his wife Mary Elnora (Dormody)Harper; Daughter Judy brothers Donald and Allan.
A family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to NS Heart & Stroke Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
