Harold Hanna

Harold Hanna 29 avril 1934 – 19 mai 2017

Harold was born on April 29, 1934 on the farm south of Richardson and passed away peacefully on Friday, May 19, 2017 (at the Regina General Hospital) at the age of 83 years.
He was predeceased by his parents Arnold and Nellie Hanna; and sisters Betty and Mabel.
Harold is survived by his wife Helen; and children and grandchildren Donna (Dennis) Stacey and Colton; Lorie (Al) Kenilee and Adam; Dale (Brandy) Makenzie, Diesel, Nitro and Titan; and Dalee (Ken). He will be missed by his McGovern relations Betty, Audrey and Helen; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Harold was born and raised on the farm and his passion and love of the land never wavered. He was proud to have lived and farmed in the Richardson area for over 70 years.
Harold loved music and was an amazing dancer. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, playing cards and vacationing to Las Vegas with family and friends.
Harold enjoyed many sports including the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Regina Pats, Toronto Blue Jays, but the highlight was following his daughters’ curling careers.
We would like to thank the staff of Unit 5F at the Regina General Hospital for the compassion and care shown to Dad over the past month. We would also like to thank the staff of College Park II where Dad resided for the past two years.
A FUNERAL SERVICE FOR HAROLD will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with reception following.
Donations in memory of Harold may be made to Regina Palliative Care Inc., 1802 McAra Street, Regina, SK S4N 6C4.
