BLACK, Gregory Kenneth (1955-2017) – Never one to miss a sunset on the Muskoka River, Greg Black passed peacefully in his home, in the late afternoon of December 22, 2017. He was surrounded by his family, in the place he loved most in the world, with the sun setting on his face. Greg is survived by his best friend and life partner, Nancy Gamble, loving children Jordan Black (Ashley), Kate Black (Jordan), Jori Gamble (Don) and Lily Gamble (Jo). Son to Beth Black and the late Ken Black, and brother to Debra Selkirk (late Mark), Kendra Black (Peter) and David Black (Cynthia). Adoring grandfather to Sofia and Eva Botting and beloved family member and close friend to Chris, Jamie, Nancy, George, John, Erika, and more. Greg was a leader for the local soccer club and active in the greater Muskoka community throughout his life. He will be missed by all those that he touched as a coach, mentor, and volunteer. Details regarding a service of remembrance will be made available in the coming days. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Greg’s honour to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation or the Bracebridge Soccer Club.
