Greg Hanson of Central Hainesville, NB passed away May 30, 2017 at his
home. Greg was born in 1959 at Fredericton, NB, a son of Shirley
(Brewer) Hanson and the late Ardine Hanson.
Greg was a member of the M&H Mud Runners and enjoyed 4-Wheeling,
hunting and camping at Myrtle’s beach with family and friends.
He was an avid Baseball, Nascar and NHL Hockey fan.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy (Moorcroft) Hanson; a step-son,
Richie King, Montreal, QC; a granddaughter, Josie King (Scott),
Fredericton, NB;
his mother, Shirley of Lower Hainesville, NB; seven sisters, Kathy
Morgan, Jocelyn Stephenson (Mark), Audrey Hanson (Brian), Tammy
Ingraham (Tim), all of Hainesville, NB, Bernadine Rothwell,
Fredericton, NB, Jennifer LaForest (Mitch), Woodstock, NB and Florence
Hanson (George), Temperance Vale, NB; two brothers, Clinton Hanson
(Susan), Mactaquac, NB and Bradford Hanson (Terri), Nackawic, NB; his
mother-in-law, Myrtle Moorcroft, Upper Queensbury, NB; a
sister-in-law, Cheryl Chase (Lewis), Lethbridge, AB; a brother-in-law,
Brian Moorcroft (Jackie), Nackawic, NB; several aunts, uncles, nieces,
nephews and cousins.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother-in-law,
Robert Morgan and a nephew, Derrek Morgan.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis
Drive, Nackawic, NB on Saturday afternoon, June 3rd from 1 to 4 pm.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 2 pm from the
funeral home chapel with Rev. Willard Jones officiating. Interment at
Lower Hainesville Cemetery.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Greg, the family
has suggested a charity of the donor’s choice.
