Grace Gordon – 2017

Grace passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Huronview Home for the Aged in Clinton. Born in Toronto on July 3, 1927, Grace Florence (nee Moorhouse) Gordon, formerly of Toronto, Collingwood, Belleville, Oshawa, Whitby, Gravenhurst and Seaforth, was in her 90th year.
Loving mother of Tom Gordon (Darlene) of Calgary, Suzanne Neal (Tim) of Windermere and Jason Gordon of Gravenhurst. Cherished Grandma of Christopher Neal (Leigh-Ann) of Whitby, Melanie McGrath (Paul) of Seaforth, Hilary Gordon of Calgary, and Great-Grandma of Brayden Neal. Dear sister of Ellen Smith of Newmarket, Lorne Moorhouse (Marilyn) of Scarborough, Margaret Hogg of Toronto, and sister-in-law of Joan Moorhouse of Toronto. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Harold Gordon (1980), parents Fred and Elsie Moorhouse, siblings Eva Millman (Lorne), Lelia Tippet, Fred Moorhouse, Arthur Moorhouse (Marian), Evan Moorhouse (Ruth), and brothers-in-law Ted Smith and Harry Hogg.
At Grace’s request cremation is taking place and a memorial service will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. Grace’s urn will be interred in York Cemetery, Toronto, at a later date.
