1920-2017
Peacefully at Parkwood Institute on Sunday, November 26,
2017, Gordon Ellis Wright of London in his 98th
year.
Beloved husband of the late Evelyn (nee Jones)(McBain).
Father of the late Fred Wright (2001). Step-father of of Gary McBain,
Sheryl Lynn Russell and Jeff Porter. Loving grandfather of many
wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved him dearly.
Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and
friends. Predeceased by his brother Cook, sister Gladys and
his parents Frederick & Bertha Wright.
Gordon served his country in WWII and was a devoted
member of the Royal Canadian engineers.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all
the staff of Parkwood Institute, Veteran’s Care for all
their care and support.
Friends will be received at Evans Funeral
Home, 648 Hamilton Rd., London, Ontario (1 block east
of Egerton St.), on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 10-11
a.m.
Funeral Service will be held in the Evans
Chapel on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11:00
a.m.
Interment in Dorchester Union Cemetery, Dorchester,
Ontario.
Those who wish to make a memorial donation are asked to
consider St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation,
Veteran’s Care.

A tree will be planted, by the Evans Funeral Home, as a
living memorial to Gordon Wright.
