Gordon Timbres
February 25, 1925- March 1, 2017
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Mr. Gordon Allan Joseph Timbres on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Gordon was born in Edmonton, Alberta. He served in the Navy during the Second World War.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Florence; his three daughters Victoria (Martin), Marcia (Barry) and Patrice (Werner); grandchildren Elysia, Hilary, Brieann, Jessica, Adam and Erika as well as four great grandchildren.
Many thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and the staff of Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, for their excellent care and compassion and also thank you to CCAC.
As per Gordon’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 332 North May Street, Thunder Bay. Should friends so desire, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
