At the Queen
Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, October 15, 2017, the sudden passing of
Gordon Macdonald, age 75, devoted husband of 54 years to Julia
(Nancekivell) Macdonald occurred. Born in Montague, May 7, 1942, he
was the son of the late James and Mabel (Beck) Macdonald. Gordon will
be sadly missed by his loving children Cameron (Kate) and children,
Sloane, Mia, Violet; Jason (Connie), and children Emma,
Abby; Laurie Matheson (Scott), and children, Julia, Caitlin, Cuyler,
Olivia; Bradley (Fatima) and children, Parker, Sydney; sisters, Audrey
Brown (Bryan), Eileen Tanner, Kathryn Anderson; brother George
Macdonald; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Gordon was
predeceased by a brother-in-law Terry Tanner.
A
memorial service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017, from the
Church of Christ Montague at 2 pm. Interment to follow in
the Brudenell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Lung
Association would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to
the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home.
