Gordon A. McNeil made his journey from life Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 13:15. He was born on December 26, 1933 and was proud of being second generation Nanaimo. A lot happened between these 2 dates. His first occupation was on tug boats. He worked his way up to skipper. He married Doris and had three sons: Randy, Steve, and Charlie. Tug boating didn’t suit family life so he worked at B.C. Ferries and then at Nanoose Naval Base. His many interests included hiking, bridge, and travel.
