Gordon A. Boynton
1924-2016
Gordon Augustus Boynton, age 92, of Victoria Corner entered into the
presence of his Saviour on Wednesday, December 7, 2016. He was born in
1924, and was the son of the late George and Jane Boynton. Besides his
parents he was predeceased by his first wife, Edythe Stokes and his
second wife, Evelyn Bowker; a grandson Gordon Boynton; and a brother
John (Peg) Boynton.
Gordon lived for 54 years in Bury, Quebec, moved to Victoria Corner,
NB in 1999, and more recently resided at the Central Carleton Nursing
Home in Hartland from where he was promoted.
Gordon is survived by his children Roger Boynton of Thailand, Everett
(June Belair) Boynton of Lennoxville, QC, Orma (David) Bauman of Ennis
TX, Mary (David) Meed of Victoria Corner, NB; grandchildren, Philip
(Debbie Sylvester) Boynton, Neal Boynton, Ashley (Kyle Comeau)
Boynton, Shekinah Bauman, Heaven Bauman, Gabriel Bauman, Naomi Meed,
Douglas Meed, Margaret Meed; great grandchildren, Faith, Jordan,
Samantha, Alexia, Emilia; great great grandson, Jayden; nieces and
nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street,
Hartland on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on
Monday, December 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m and Tuesday the 13th from
1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Sawyerville Baptist Church in
Sawyerville, Quebec. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, December
13th at 2:00 p.m. from the Sawyerville Baptist Church. Interment will
follow in the Bury Cemetery in Bury, Quebec. If so desired, donations
can be made to New Brunswick Bible Institute, the Gideons or the
