Obituary for Goldie Medd
Peacefully on Friday March 10, 2017 at Windsor Regional Hospital – Oulette, Goldie Hughbert Medd passed away at the age of 88. Beloved husband to Ella May for 67 years. Loving father to Paul (Dorothy) Medd and the late Murray Medd (1980). Loving grandpa “GG” to Jenny Taylor and her children Dana and Desiree, Annette (Kristan Spaulding) Medd, Loretta (Dave Kraan) Medd and their children Joey and Owen Charette, Jeff Medd and his children Jayson Crossette and Christopher Free, Terri (Mark Handy) Wilshire and their children Bradley and Felicia Myllyoja and Tammy (Steven) Wilshire-Weber and their children Kaila, Kelvin and Kris Trepanier. Proud great-great grandfather to Taven and Hunter Foslett. Goldie was a farmer and a carpenter his entire life, helping his family from the time he was 12 years old. Goldie loved his family and his Wyoming community and will be dearly missed by all those who knew him. Visitors will be received by the family on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, 4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia ON where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 11:00pm.
