Golden Miller Harker, beloved husband of Arlene passed away on Tuesday, August 22nd at the age of 90 years old.
Golden was born in Magrath July 9, 1927. He is the last surviving child of Earl and Elma Harker’s eight children.
He is survived by his wife, six children Lynne (Bernie) Kenny, Renae (Guy) Hambly, Sandra (Earl) Pierson, Shirley (Randy) Bowden, Carole (Jeff) Rogers, Greg (Heather) Harker, 22 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
He loved all things to do with farming, horses and John Deere tractors. His smile, handshake and sense of humor brought joy to everyone who met him.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at the Raymond Hospital for their kind and gentle care.
Friends may meet with family from 10:00 – 10:45am on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST LATTER-DAY SAINTS -Taylor St. Chapel 221 N 400 W, Raymond, AB.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST LATTER-DAY SAINTS -Taylor St. Chapel 221 N 400 W, Raymond, AB. Interment will take place in the Magrath Cemetery.
