Glyn Preston Nott, CWO (Retired)
1942-2017
Glyn P. Nott of Burton, NB passed away peacefully on
Wednesday, January 25th, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional
Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born on June 1, 1942 in
Lawfield, NB, he was the son of the late Eric and Dorothy (Brown)
Nott. Predeceased by his wife, Kay and son,
Jimmy.
Lovingly remembered by his children, Glyn C. P. Nott (Brenda)
of Burton, NB, Tina Nott (Paul) of Angus, ON and Linda Nott (the late
Jimmy) of Angus, ON; brother, James Nott (Janice) and sister, Joan
Boyd (Norman). He was a wonderful Poppy to 10 grandchildren and 12
great-grandchildren and will be sadly missed by his companion, Nanette
Saunders and many friends.
Visitation will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home,
160 York Street, Fredericton on Monday, January 30, 2017 from 12:00 to
2:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm,
immediately following the visitation. Interment will take
place at a later date in Angus, ON. In lieu of flowers,
memorial tributes in honour of Glyn may be made to the Oromocto SPCA
or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
